The first step is to reach out via our contact form or email. Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll invite you for a quick call to learn more about your vacation preferences. After our call, we’ll create a personalized quote for the villa rental which will allow you to begin the booking process. After you’ve reserved your dates, we’ll start the process of building your personalized itinerary with our onsite manager and pre-arrival concierge.


How do I know your availability?

Please fill out the contact form on our site with your desired dates and we’ll get back to you via email within 24 business hours. 

What’s included in the rental rate?

All of the following will be included in your villa rental:

The Villa: You will have exclusive access to the villa for your desired date ranges.

Concierge Services: Our team will work with you prior and during to your arrival to customize your vacation experience. We’ll assist you with overflow bookings, additional transportation, pre-stocking services, scheduling tours as needed and more.

Airport Transportation and Greeter: Private mini van transportation from and to the airport and refreshments. One of our staff members will greet you at the airport for a smooth and welcoming experience.

Villa and Beach Butler: Our butler is meticulously trained to anticipate and fulfill your every need, ensuring that your stay is not just comfortable but truly exceptional, he will be available around the clock, discreetly attending to your requests.

Daily Housekeeping and Laundry: We’ll provide you with daily housekeeping, laundry services and turndown service throughout your stay so you can truly enjoy every second of your stay.

Daily Breakfast: A traditional Costa Rican breakfast spread is included for guests to enjoy plus unlimited coffee through the day.

Dedicated Chauffeur: our butler will drive you around Flamingo as you need on our Yamaha 6 seater ATV.

Water Sports Equipment: This villa has a variety of sports equipment such as paddle boards and kayaks for you to enjoy during your beach days .

Beer Keg: one local beer keg upon arrival for you to enjoy during the stay.

Luxury Touches: We love to surprise and delight our guests with little extras like a daily traditional snack corner or unexpected daily treats.

Stay Connected: The villa is equipped with Wi-Fi so you’ll always be connected. 

Additional Services: We will happily help you book additional add-on services (not included in the villa rental) as desired to make your vacation unforgettable.

Is breakfast included?

Yes, a “family-style” pre-selected menu is available daily for breakfast featuring local cuisine. There are also a few surprises throughout the day like a frozen cappuccino by the pool or homemade popsicles after a day at the beach.  

Lunch and dinner are a la carte services that can be added to your itinerary. If you want to explore your food options outside the villa we can also help you with dining experiences at local restaurants. 

Can I change the breakfast menu?

Yes, we can absolutely customize the breakfast menu based on your food preferences and dietary restrictions, however changes made to the pre-existing menu may be subject to additional fees.

What are some additional costs we should budget for?

The cost of your extras depends on your personal preferences and vacation style.

 Additional costs may include: 
  • Flights to/from Costa Rica
  • Transportation upgrades from a minivan to an SUV
  • Extra transportation services (ex. if the group arrives or departs at different times on different days)
  • Dinner or lunch at the villa
  • Additional meals at the villa or off-site at local restaurants
  • Grocery and liquor pre-stocking
  • Off-site tours and activities
  • Transfers to town or tours that do not include transportation
  • Spa and wellness services 
  • Bartender services
  • Staff gratuities

How many people can the villa accommodate?

The villa can accommodate up to 18 adults and about 4 -6 kids at a time. Please note: Off-site guests are not permitted to stay or visit the villa.

Will the villa be staffed 24/7?

Yes, the manager lives on the property and is on call throughout the duration of your stay. The butler and other staff members will be available based on your itinerary.

is the villa accessible for people with disabilities?

Unfortunately, the villa is not totally accessible for people with disabilities. That being said, the main level does not have any stairs and may be better for guests looking to avoid going up and down stairs regularly during their stay. 

What in-room amenities are available?

The following amenities are available in guest rooms:
  • Laptop-sized safe
  • Hairdryer
  • Fresh bath and pool towels daily
  • Liquid hand-soap, body wash, shampoo & conditioner
  • Robes
  • Turn down service
  • Steamer (by request – 1 available)
  • Pack-N-Play (by request – 1 available)

does the villa have cribs available?

We do not have cribs, but we do have a pack-and-play available for guests to use as needed.

DOES THE VILLA HAVE Air conditioning?

Yes, the villa is equipped with individual air conditioning units throughout each guest room and in the shared living spaces. Most rooms also have ceiling fans as well. 

IS THERE A SOUND SYSTEM OR SPEAKERS AVAILABLE FOR USE?

Yes, every shared living space has Sonos speakers. And there are sound bars in both the gym and game area. 

IS THERE CABLE TV?

Yes! Also, our Smart TVs have Apple TV and YouTube TV for you to log into with your account credentials. 

ARE THERE CAMERAS AT THE VILLA?

Yes, we have cameras outdoors for security purposes. But to respect the privacy of our guests there are no cameras in the indoor spaces. 

IS LAUNDRY INCLUDED?

Yes! Daily laundry will be done complimentary!

IS THE WATER SAFE TO DRINK?

Yes, the villa has a water filtration system and it is safe to drink–as is most of the water in Costa Rica. However, if you are not from Costa Rica, we suggest you drink bottled or filtered water whenever you can.

IS SMOKING PERMITTED AT THE VILLA?

Smoking is prohibited at the villa–even in outdoor spaces. Costa Rica has implemented stringent no-smoking laws that prohibit smoking in public places. 

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

Pets are not allowed at the villa. This ensures that any future guests with allergies will be able to comfortably enjoy their time with us. 

cAN EACH PARTY pay the villa individually for their portion OF THE TOTAL STAY?

Unfortunately no, payments to the villa must be made by a single party. 

DO I HAVE TO PAY A SECURITY DEPOSIT FOR DAMAGES?

Yes, we require a $2000 security deposit that will be refunded partially or in full depending on whether there is any damage during your stay. You can expect your deposit to be refunded within 2-4 weeks of your departure.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 3:00 pm.
Check-out is at 10:00 am.

How do I get to Villa Ocaso from the airport?

One round-trip transfer (from the Liberia International Airport LIR) is included in your stay for up to 20 people. We can arrange additional transfers if needed for an additional fee.

HOW FAR IS THE BEACH FROM THE VILLA?

The Villa is only a quick 3-minute car ride away from the beach and offers stunning views of Flamingo Beach and the Pacific Ocean.
